Employers can register for additional resources, supports
Employers take note: This year’s Take Our Kids to Work Day is fast approaching.
The annual event involves grade 9 students across Canada (or Senior 1 in Manitoba and Secondary III in Quebec) who spend the day shadowing professionals — be it a parent, relative or volunteer host — to experience and learn about the world of work.
Launched in 1994, Take our Kids to Work Day sees about 200,000 students involved in the event.
This year, it is taking place Nov. 6.
Interested employers can register with the Learning Partnership to receive resources and supports for planning the day at Take Our Kids to Work.
