Time management is top concern for financial executives

Balancing mounting responsibilities is challenging.

When asked to name their greatest challenge, 38 per cent of chief financial officers responded that it was time management.

In a recent survey conducted by RHI Management Resources, a consulting services firm providing accounting and finance professionals on a project basis, CFOs stated that completing multiple projects on time was their main concern.

Other difficult areas were achieving work/life balance (named as the top concern by 25 per cent of respondents), keeping up with technology (23 per cent) and staying current with accounting regulations (14 per cent).

The survey was conducted for RHI by an independent research firm. Two hundred and seventy CFOs responded, each from a Canadian company with at least 20 employees. For further information on the survey, contact David King at RHI: [email protected].
