Renewal agreement: July 2, 2024 to July 1, 2027.
Wage adjustments:
2024: $0.50/hour
2025: $0.50/hour
2026: $0.50/hour
Paid holidays: 12 days including 1 floating holiday.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 per days or 40 per week, and on a holiday.
Medical Benefits: Employer contributes $250 per employee per month to the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 175 Health and Welfare Fund (increases to $300 on Jan. 1, 2026). Employees hired after the ratification date must pay one-half of the total monthly premium.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of spouse including common-law spouse, parent, or child. 3 paid days for death of sibling, parent-in-law, or sibling-in-law. 1 paid day for death of grandparent or grandchild.
Sick leave: 3 paid sick days per calendar year. No accumulation from year to year.
Probationary period: 90 calendar days.
Sample rates of pay:
Start: $17.50 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $18.50 (2026).
6 months: $18 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $19 (2026).
12 months: $18.50 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $19.50 (2026).
Lead hand: $21.50 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $22.50 (2026).
