Renewal agreement: July 11, 2025 to July 11, 2026.
Shift premium: Double time on a weekend premium day. Time-and-a-half for first normal working day on a premium weekend day if at least 24 hours notice provided. 25% added to hourly rate for all work performed between midnight and 5 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for work performed after 8 working hours. Double time for overtime worked after 12 hours. Triple time for overtime worked on weekend premium days (2.25 times regular rate if at least 24 hours notice given, then triple time after 12 hours). Double time for first 8 hours worked on a holiday, Triple time for hours worked on holiday in excess of 8.
Meal allowance: $75 per diem for employees working more than 50 km and 45 minutes of travel from the production office ($15 breakfast, $20 lunch, $35 supper).
Medical Benefits: Employer pays 6% of total weekly wage as medical fund benefit.
Pension: Employer pays amount equal to 6.5% for certain rate tiers, 6% for others, of total weekly wages to retirement benefit, with matched deductions from employee’s pay. After age 72, amount is paid directly to employee.
Bereavement leave: 2 paid days and 1 unpaid day for “weekly” employee. 2 unpaid days for “daily” employee. For death of spouse, child, grandchild, parent, sibling, grandparent, parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, or child-in-law.
Sick leave: 1 day for 20 days of principal photography, 2 days for 41 days, 3 days for 61 days, 4 days for 81 days, 5 days for more than 100 days of principal photography.
Seniority – recall rights: Weekly employees have right of recall when employment commences after temporary layoff, when laid off due to shortage of work.
Severance: 1 week written notice or pay in lieu for weekly employee.
