Collective agreement: Canadian Corps of Commissionaires (Calgary International Airport)

Renewal agreement: March 28, 2025 to September 30, 2027. 

Shift premium: $1 per hour for employees engaged in training new employees. 

Paid holidays: 10 days plus 3 personal days. 

Vacations with pay: After passing probation period, pro-rated amount accrued from hire date. 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 8 years.  

Overtime: Time-and-a-half for all approved hours in excess of 84 in a 2-week pay period and all hours worked on a holiday. 

Medical Benefits: Employer provides benefits plan. 

Bereavement leave: 3 paid days plus up to 7 additional unpaid days for death of spouse, child, child of spouse or common law partner, parent, sibling, grandchild, grandparent, parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, child-in-law, stepchild, or stepparent. Up to five additional unpaid days if funeral occurs more than 700 kms of the employee’s normal work location. 
 
Sick leave: According to Canada Labour Code. Up to 10 days per leave can be banked. 

Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for employees employed for 1 year or more. The length of employment for employees employed for less than one year. 

Probationary period: 90 calendar days. May be extended by equivalent number of calendar days of any absence by the employee. 

Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months. Employer committed to principle of 5 stages of progressive discipline, with the final stage being termination. 

Safety shoes: $100 every 12 months reimbursement. 

Uniforms/clothing: Full-time employees: Employer provides 3 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, 1 hat, 1 tie, 1 sweater, 1 Class III CSA-approved insulated winter jacket, 1 pair CSA-approved insulated winter pants for Curbside and Airside NPSV employees (every 2 years). Part-time employees: 2 shirts, 1 pair of pants, 1 hat, 1 tie, 1 sweater, 1 Class III CSA-approved insulated winter jacket. Uniforms expected to lats at least 12 months, after which employer will replace as needed.

Terminal patrol + OSS: $19.50 (0-12 months) unchanged. $22.33-$24.04 (2025) rising in 2 steps to $22.67-$25.12 (2026). 
Airside patrol: $24 (0-12 months) unchanged. $24.36-$25.08 (2025) rising in 2 steps to $24.73-$26.21 (2026). 
Groundside patrol: $21 (0-12 months) unchanged. $23.35-$25.08 (2025) rising in 2 steps to $23.70-$26.21 (2026). 
Curbside after DOR: $$18.25 (0-12 months) unchanged. $21.32-$22.78 (2025) rising in 2 steps to $21.64-$23.81 (2026). 
SOC: $21.50 (0-12 months) unchanged. $23.45-$26.23 (2025) rising in 2 steps to $23.80-$27.42 (2026).
