Renewal agreement: January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027.
Wage adjustments:
2024: 3.5%
2025: 3.3%
2026: 3.2%

Shift premium:
Paid holidays: 14 days, including a half-day on Dec. 24, a half-day on Dec. 31, and two floating holidays.
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days for each month of service to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 11 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 7 weeks after 25 years. Any employee who reaches 3 weeks’ entitlement received one additional day for every 2 years until 4 weeks is reached. One day for every two years continues until 7 weeks is reached. Employees are also entitled to 2 personal days for use between July 1 and June 30, but cannot be carried over.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for all hours worked in excess of normal hours in any day or shift, on a holiday when an employee was scheduled to work, on a Saturday or first scheduled day off. Double time for all hours worked on a holiday that weren’t scheduled or on a Sunday or second scheduled day off.
Meal allowance: $15 for employees required to work more than 2 hours of continuous overtime.
Medical Benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Ontario Health Insurance Plan and Extended Health Care Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 100% coverage of ODA Plan (Plan A), 75% of costs to $2,500 annual maximum (Plan B), 60% of costs to $2,500 annual maximum (Plan C). $5,000 annual maximum for all dental services.
Vision: $700 every 24 months (Jan. 1, 2027). $130 for eye examination every 24 months.
Long-term disability: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 70% of salary up to age 65 after expiration of sick day credits and 15-week disability employment insurance allocation.
Alcohol and substance abuse policy:
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Group Life Plan covering 2 times employee’s annual salary.
Pension: OMERS
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of parent, current partner, spouse, same-sex partner, common-law spouse, sibling, child, child-in-law, parent-in-law, grandparent, great-grandparent, step-parent, step-child, or grandchild. 3 paid days for death of sibling-in-law or grandparent of partner. Up to 3 days can be saved for attending memorial service at future date no later than 12 months from date of death. 1 unpaid day for death of aunt or uncle.
Sick leave: 1.5 days for every month of service with unlimited accumulation. Up to 5 days can be used for family illness.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: 1 hour of pay per day on standby.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Safety shoes: $250 reimbursed for the purchase of personal protective footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: By-law and security employees: employer provides uniforms consisting of pants, shirt, hat, jacket, tie, footwear, parka on an “as needed” basis, along with dry-cleaning. Employees required to wear PPE: Blaze orange parkas, 3 pairs of coveralls (1 insulated). 5 shirts for employees requiring shirts, 1 sweatshirt. Employees required to work outside: parkas and rain attire.

Grade 1 (food services attendant PT, building attendant: $21.61-$22.96 (2024), rising in 3 steps to $23.74-$25.24 (2027).
Grade 4 (facility booking and forestry clerk, records management clerk, licensing officer, property co-ordinator): $29.07-$30.90 (2024), rising in 3 steps to $30.99-$32.94 (2027).
Grade 8 (property officer, recreation co-ordinator, tax specialist, municipal by-law compliance officer, revenue co-ordinator): $40-$42.52 (2024), rising in 3 steps to $43.96-$46.74 (2027).
Grade 12 (landscape architect, senior civil engineering technologist II, municipal building official – plumbing and mechanical): $50.66-$53.84 (2024), rising in 3 steps to $55.67-$59.18 (2027).
