Collective agreement: Greater London International Airport Authority

Renewal agreement: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029. 

Wage adjustments: 

2026: 3% 
2027: 3% 
2028: 3% 
2029: 3% 

Paid holidays: 13 days including employee’s birthday. 1 day can be exchanged for religious reasons. 

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 26 years. 

Overtime: Time-and-a-half for hours worked in excess or outside of employee’s scheduled daily hours of work for first day/shift of overtime, double time for each hour worked on second or subsequent day of rest, if the days are consecutive. Minimum 3 hours’ pay for reporting on day of rest. 

Meal allowance: $10 when working at least 3 hours of unscheduled overtime in an 8-hour period, except when a free meal can be provided. 

Medical Benefits: Employer offers Extended Health Care Plan to full-time permanent employees and a limited plan to part-time and contract employees working at least 30 hours per week. 

Dental: Employer offers Dental Plan to full-time permanent employees and a limited plan to part-time and contract employees working at least 30 hours per week. 

Long-term disability: Employer offers Long Term Disability Plan to full-time permanent employees. 

Life insurance: Employer offers Life Insurance Plan to full-time permanent employees. 

Pension: Canadian Airports Council Pension Plan (London International Airport). 

Bereavement leave: 4 paid days for death of spouse, parent, spouse of parent, child, sibling, parent-in-law, stepparent, foster parent, stepchild, ward of employee, or person residing with employee. 1 paid day for death of member of extended family. Up to 3 paid days for travel related to a bereavement period. 
 
Sick leave: 18 personal days per year for full-time employees, pro-rated based on annual expected hours for part-time employees. 

Seniority – recall rights: 6 months. 

Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at applicable overtime rate. 

Probationary period: 1 year of continuous service. May be extended at employer’s discretion. 

Severance: 1 week’s pay for each complete year of continuous employment, up to a maximum of 30 weeks. 

Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides and replaces appropriate items of clothing and safety equipment to employees where it has determined that the identification of employees is necessary for the effective performance of duties, and the nature of work is such that special protection is required for occupational health and safety.

Maintenance services 1 (contract): $21 (2025) rising in 4 steps to $23.64 (2029). 
Maintenance and emergency services 2: $37.39 (2025) rising in 4 steps to $42.08 (2029). 
Maintenance and emergency services 3: $39.69 (2025) rising in 4 steps to $44.67 (2029). 
Airport comfort enhancer and security 2: $22 (2025) rising in 4 steps to $24.76 (2029). 
Airport comfort enhancer and security 3: $23.90 (2025) rising in 4 steps to $26.90 (2029).
