Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 6.67 hours for every 156 regularly paid hours (maximum 80 hours) to start, 10 hours for every 156 regularly paid hours (maximum 120 hours) after 1 year, 13.33 hours for every 156 regularly paid hours (maximum 160 hours) plus 40 unpaid hours after 5 years, 16.66 hours for every 156 regularly paid hours (maximum 200 hours) plus 40 unpaid hours after 12 years.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 40 per week.
Medical Benefits: Employer pays 70% of premiums for Medical Supplement Insurance.
Dental: Employe pays 70% of premiums for coverage of Blue Cross #9 or equivalent.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $500 very 24 months for employees and dependants.
Long-term disability: Employer pays 100% of premium.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for employees and dependants.
Pension: Employer and employee each contribute 5.25% of applicable wages to Multi-Sector Pension Plan (MSPP).
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death or serious illness of parent, step-parent, spouse, common-law spouse, child, step-child, sibling, or step-sibling. 3 paid days for death or serious illness of parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, or fiancé(e). 1 paid day for death or serious illness of sibling-in-law, child-in-law, or other second-degree relative living in the same household. 3 paid days for employee who suffers a miscarriage within the first 1.5 months from conception and 5 paid days for miscarriage after the first 1.5 months from conception.
Sick leave: 10 hours for each month worked to a maximum of 120 hours/15 days per year. Unused hours can accrue to a maximum of 360 hours/45 days.
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 2 hours at overtime rate when called in outside of regular scheduled working hours.
Probationary period: 6 months for full-time employees, no greater than 12 months for part-time employees, 936 hours for casual employees. May be extended by mutual agreement.
Mileage: $0.55 per km for employees required to use own automobile for employer’s business.

Residential (qualified): $33.43 - $36.57 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $34.95 - $38.23 (2026).
Residential (asleep): $20.45 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $21.38 (2026).
Lifeskills: $32.74 - $35.88 (2024) rising in 2 steps to $34.23 - $37.51 (2026).
