Renewal agreement: September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2026.
Wage adjustments:
2023: 2%
2024: 3%
2025: 2.5%
Paid holidays: 11 days. Hours of work can be rescheduled to observe holy days according to religious beliefs with at least 10 days notice.
Medical Benefits: Employer contributes 100% of premiums for University Group Medical Benefits Plan, including coverage for employee’s spouse and dependents.
Dental: Employer contributes 80% of premiums for Graduate Dental Plan.
Vision: Employer contributes 100% of premiums for Vision Care Plan, including coverage of $75 every 24 months.
Bereavement leave: 3 paid days for death of spouse, child, parent, sibling, step-sibling, parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, grandparent, or grandchild. Additional leave of up to 2 working days (2 hours) to attend family members funeral.
Sick leave: Unpaid sick leave. Up to 10 paid hours during the combined fall and winter terms for absence beyond 5 working days supported by medical certificate.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.

Graduate assistant/research assistant I: $10,716.82 (2023) rising in 2 steps to $11,314.28 (2025).
Graduate assistant/research assistant III: $11,686.95 (2023) rising in 2 steps to $12,338.50 (2025).
Undergraduate assistant I: $19.70/hour (2023) rising in 2 steps to $20.80/hour (2025).
Student accessibility tutor (enrolled in undergraduate degree/diploma program): $16.54/hour (2023) rising in 2 steps to $18.34/hour (2025).
Student accessibility tutor (enrolled in doctoral/graduate degree/diploma program): $26.23/hour (2023) rising in 2 steps to $27.70/hour (2025).
Editor’s Notes: Employer provides Financial Assistance Fund of $10,000 to assist employees with academic and living expenses.
