Renewal agreement: January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2026.
Wage adjustments:
2022: 3.2%
2023: 3%
2024: 3%
2025: 3%
Paid holidays: 12 days including 2 lieu days, plus one-half day on the working day preceding Christmas Day and the working day preceding New Year’s Day.
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 7 years, 25 days after 16 years, 30 days after 23 years.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for all authorized time worked outside the normal workday or workweek (35 hours) and on Sunday. No overtime and shift premium for same hours worked.
Meal allowance: $15 for employees working longer than 9 hours continuously.
Medical Benefits: Employer pays 100% of costs for provincial health coverage for full-time employees, pro-rated portion of premiums for part-time employee. Employer pays 100% of premiums for Extended Health Care Plan.
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums for Plan #9 (ODA schedule). 50/50 co-payment for dentures every 5 years, major restorative services every 5 years.
Vision: $400 per 24 months for each family member, except $200 every 12 months for prescription changes for dependent children under 21. $100 per 24 months for eye examination.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Group Life Insurance Plan coverage of 2.5 times annual salary, rounded to next $1,000, to a maximum of $250,000. Optional units of $10,000 can be purchased by employees up to $250,000.
Pension: Contributory retirement system integrating Canada Pension Plan with Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of spouse, child, step-child, grandchild, parent, step-parent, sibling, step-sibling, ward, or guardian of employee. 3 paid days for death of parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, child-in-law, grandparent, or grandparent-in-law. 1 paid day for death of uncle, aunt, cousin, nephew, or niece. Additional time off with pay may be granted for travel or other special circumstances.
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month. Maximum of 120 days for employees hired after May 1, 1985.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Call-in pay: Time-and-a-half for a minimum of 4.5 hours at straight time rates.
Probationary period: 4 months.
Safety shoes: $200 annually for employees in positions for which wearing of safety boots is required.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides uniforms annually for all members of facility services staff.

Accounts receivable clerk, building maintenance mechanic, library assistant small branches, senior collections management assistant: $25.157-$32.138 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $27.489-$35.119 (2025).
Collections management librarian, hardware & software specialist, payroll officer: $30.606-$39.10 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $33.444-$42.726 (2025).
Information system specialist, supervisor facility services, server integration/network & intranet specialist: $33.897-$43.305 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $37.040-$47.320 (2025).
Co-ordinator collections management/lending services/public services/WPH: $35.804-$45.741 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $39.124-$49.983 (2025).
Editor’s Notes: Education allowance of up to $1,000 in any 1 calendar year for the cost of a course of instruction relating to an employee’s work that allows the employee to better qualify themselves for their job for full-time employees. $250 for part-time employees.
