Renewal agreement: May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2026.
Wage adjustments:
2022: 4.8%
2023: 3.5%
2024: 2.3%

Paid holidays: 12 days.
Vacations with pay: 9.375 hours for each calendar month with at least 75 hours’ pay to start, 12.5 hours per month after 8 years, 13.75 hours per month after 16 years, 15.625 hours per month after 17 years, 16.875 hours per month after 27 years, 18.75 hours per month after 28 years. Up to 262.5 hours may be carried over into the following fiscal year. One-time entitlement of 37.5 hours on the first day of the month following the employee’s second anniversary of service.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for first 7.5 hours hours in excess of employee’s scheduled hours on regular working days or on days of rest and double-time for any continguous hours in excess of 7.5. Time-and-a-half for all hours on a designated holiday up to regular scheduled hours, and double-time for all hours in excess of
Meal allowance: $12 for an employee required to work 3 or more consecutive hours of overtime immediately following normal hours of work and for every additional 4-hour period of continuous work, except where free meals are provided.
Medical Benefits: Current practices for medical or hospital insurance plans applicable to the majority of those employed in the public service for whom the Treasury Board is the employer.
Bereavement leave: 7 consecutive paid days or two periods of up to 5 paid working days for death of parent, stepparent, foster parent, sibling, step-sibling, spouse, common-law partner, child, step-child, foster child, ward, parent-in-law, child-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, or other relative permanently residing in the employee’s household. 1 paid day for death of aunt, uncle, sibling-in-law, or spouse’s grandparents.
Sick leave: 9.375 hours for each calendar month with at least 75 hours’ pay.
Call-in pay: At least 3 hours’ straight time or applicable overtime rate for call-back not continguous with previous shift. One-half hour’s pay for each 4-hour period of standby.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first-time layoff of employee with less than 10 years’ service. 3 weeks’ pay for employees with 10 years or more, 4 weeks’ pay for employees with 20 years or more plus 1 week’s pay for each succeeding complete year of continuous service. For second or subsequent layoff, 1 week’s pay for each completed year of continuous service.

Editor’s Notes: An employee may complete the weekly hours of work over a period of 14, 21, or 28 calendar days, providing the employee averages 37.5 hours per week.
