Renewal agreement: September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2026.
Wage adjustments:
2022: 3%
2023: 3%
2024: 2.7%
2025: 2.5%
Paid holidays: 2 personal obligation days.
Medical Benefits: Employer provides funding of $6,424.69 (2025) (increasing to $6,682.68 in 2026) per full-time employee to Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario Employee Life and Health Trust.
Short-term disability: 120 days at 90% salary each school year. Can be topped up with unused sick leave days from the previous school year.
Long-term disability: Employees pay full cost of LTD plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of spouse (including common law or same-sex spouse), parent, child, step-child, sibling, ward, parent-in-law, or person in loco parentis. 3 paid days for death of sibling-in-law, child-in-law, grandparent, or grandchild. 1 paid day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, spouse’s grandparent, or close friend. 2 paid days for serious illness of spouse, child, or parent.
Sick leave: 11 days at 100% salary each school year. Pro-rated for teachers less than full-time.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 school years.

A1/Gp1 teacher: $54,167-$89,745 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $58,762-$97,356 (2025).
A2/Gp2 teacher: $55,802-$94,564 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $60,535-$102,582 (2025).
A3/Gp3 teacher: $61,076-$104,595 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $66,255-$113,464 (2025).
A4/Gp4 teacher: $64,367-$110,557 (2022) rising in 3 steps to $69,827-$119,932 (2025).
Education co-ordinator: Grid salary + $7,514
Master’s degree: Grid salary + $1,290
Doctoral degree: Grid salary + $1,935
