Renewal agreement: March 23, 2024, to March 22, 2027.
Wage adjustments:
2024: 3.5%
2025: 3%
2026: 3%
Shift premium: $0.60 per hour for afternoon shift, $1.20 per hour for night shift. $1 per hour for night shift for continental employees (12-hour shift).
Paid holidays: 10 days.
Vacations with pay: Employment Standards Act minimum to start,10 days after 1 year, 15 days after 5 years, 20 days after 10 years, 21 days after 18 years, 22 days after 19 years, 23 days after 20 years, 24 days after 21 years, 25 days after 22 years.
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week. Continental shift (12 hours): Time-and-a-half for hours worked in excess of 36 or 44 per week, depending on the schedule. Double time for hours worked on a paid holiday.
Medical Benefits: Employer covers 80% of premiums for extended health care and paramedical services.
Vision: $400 every 2 years per person.
Pension: Employees can voluntarily participate in Voyant Beauty Pension Plan and contribute up to 6% of their earnings (5% for employees hired after March 23, 2021). Employer will match 50% of employee’s contribution.
Bereavement leave: 3 paid days for death of spouse, parent, child, step-child, sibling, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, sibling-in-law.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Call-in pay: The greater of 4 hours at straight time or overtime rates for hours worked.
Probationary period: 60 working days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for verbal or written warning, 18 months for suspension.

Labour operator, stacker, housekeeper: $19.15 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $20.87 (2026).
Line mechanic C, parts room technician: $23.82 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $25.27 (2026).
Senior microbiologist: $33.85 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $35.91 (2026).
Electrical technician: $43.03 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $45.65 (2026).
Millwright: $45.54 (2024), rising in 2 steps to $48.31 (2026).
