Renewal agreement: Effective January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026. Signed on Aug. 20-26, 2024.
Wage adjustments: Increases by 3.5% on Jan. 1, 2024, 3.5% on Jan. 1, 2025, and 3.5% on Jan. 1, 2026
Shift premium: $1.05/hour for shifts with the majority of hours between 2 p.m. and 7 a.m.; $0.75/hour for weekend work.
Paid holidays: 12 designated holidays plus one float day annually.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks to start, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 14 years, 6 weeks after 21 years, 7 weeks after 27 years.
Overtime: Time and a half for hours over 7.5/day or 75/pay period; double time for excess hours on statutory holidays.
Medical Benefits: Employer-paid extended health care, including chiropractic, massage, and physiotherapy, up to $1,200 annually.
Dental: Employer-paid plan, including recall exams every nine months, at ODA fee schedule minus one year (p. 47).
Vision: $350 every 24 months; $50 for exams every two calendar years.
Short-term disability: 12 sick days at full pay annually, 75% pay from day 6 to day 85.
Long-term disability: 60% of wages up to $5,000/month, starting after 85 continuous sick leave days (119 calendar days).
Life insurance: Employer-paid; 2x annual salary.
Pension: Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS); mandatory for full-time, optional for part-time.
Bereavement leave: 5 paid days for death of parent, spouse, common-law partner, same-sex partner, sibling, or child. 3 paid days for death of niece, nephew, god-child, parent-in-law, sibling-in-law, child-in-law, grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, grandchild, or fiancé. 1 paid day for death of aunt or uncle.
Seniority – recall rights: 24-months; bumping rights included.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at time and a half for callbacks after leaving the premises
Probationary period: 487.5 hours worked for full-time and part-time employees.
Discipline: Progressive discipline with written documentation; records removed after 12 months of clean performance.
Safety shoes: $100 annual reimbursement for eligible employees (p. 48).
Mileage: Reimbursed at Lanark County employee prevailing rates for authorized use of personal vehicle.

Food services aide, support services aide (start): $24.86, rising to $25.73 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Maintenance (start): $27.60, rising to $28.57 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Cook 1 (start): $28.25, rising to $29.24 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Personal support worker (start): $27.05, rising to $28 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Recreation level 1 (start): $28.11, rising to $29.09 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Life enrichment team leader (start): $30.37, rising to $31.43 on Jan. 1, 2026.
Registered practical nurse (start): $32.50, rising to $33.64 on Jan. 1, 2026.
