Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2027. Signed on Oct. 21, 2024.

Wage adjustments: Incremental increases including 5.7% on May 1, 2024, and 3% each on May 1, 2025, and May 1, 2026.

Paid holidays: 10 days plus any Christmas closure days other than Christmas Day and Boxing Day (Determined and communicated by the employer each year).

Vacations with pay: Unspecified.

STD: Paid time off to a maximum of 9/39ths of the contract amount per term (approximately 3 weeks).

Pension: University Pension Plan for all employees with the less of: earnings of at least 35% of the Year’s Maximum Pensionable Earnings; or at least 700 hours of service with the employer; in each of the two consecutive calendar years.

Seniority – recall rights: A break in service of 36 consecutive months.

Probationary period: Two (2.0) course equivalents.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months or two (2.0) courses taught, whichever is shorter.

Sample rates of pay (current, after increase):

Part-time faculty: $8,572.52 per half-course (0.5), $17,145.04 per full course (1.0), with two increases to $9,094.59 per half-course and $18,198.18 per full course on May 1, 2026.

Editor’s notes: A half-course shall be considered 195 hours of work; a full course shall be considered 390 hours of work.
