Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 7, 2022 to Nov. 30, 2025. Ratified on Oct. 3, 2022. Signed on Oct. 3, 2022.
Paid holidays: 9 days.
Vacations with pay: 1 days per month, maximum 10 days, to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 10 hours in any 1 day or 44 hours in 1 week. Double time for work on Sunday.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Sick leave: 48 hours per year. Employees will receive 1/26 of annual payment each pay period.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $25,000.
Pension: Employees will be entitled to participate in employer pension plan after 1 year of employment. Employer will contribute 2% for commissioned route sales representatives and shuttle drivers; for every $1 of contribution by employee, employer will match $0.50, maximum optional matching of 2%. Employer will contribute 4% for commissioned route sales representatives and utility drivers; for every $1 of contribution by employee, employer will match $0.25, maximum optional matching of 1.5%.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of parents, legal guardian, grandparents, children, grandchildren, sister, brother, spouse, stepparents, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, spouse’s grandparents, stepson, stepdaughter.
Seniority – recall rights: 3 months (while on probation in new position) for employee who is transferred or promoted to position outside bargaining unit. 210 days for laid off employees.
Probationary period: 105 days worked.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months for records of written reprimands and suspensions.
Safety shoes: Employer will pay for CSA- and employer-approved safety boots for each employee once per year: $150 including taxes per year for 2022 and 2023; $160 inclusive of taxes for 2024; $170 inclusive of taxes for 2025.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide uniforms without cost to employee. Employer will keep all PPE practices and supply at no cost (gloves, masks and whatever else is required by employer for PPE use).
Mileage: $0.14 per kilometre for 2022 and 2023; $0.15 per kilometre for 2024; $0.16 kilometre for 2025, for employees who travel at least 160 kilometres in distance from operating centre.

Editor’s notes: Overnight routes: When employer requires employee to lodge out-of-town after shift, employer will cover costs of hotel at employer-approved premises; pay employee $37.50 per day for per diem expenses.
