Renewal agreement: Effective May 1, 2015, to April 30, 2018. Signed on May 1, 2015.

Wage adjustments:
Effective May 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective May 1, 2017: 1.5%

Shift premium: 75¢ per hour for all time worked between 11:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. $1 per hour for lead hands. 50¢ per hour for employees acting as training agents.

Paid holidays: 9 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 10 years and 5 weeks after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Meal allowance: $11.65 for breakfast, $13.30 for lunch and $21.10 for dinner when an employees is required to be away from their home base while on authorized employer business.

Sick leave: 4 days for full-time employees. 2 days for part-time employees.

Pension: Employees will be eligible to join the Defined Contribution Plan after 2 years of continuous service. Eligible employees will contribute an amount equal to 3% of their earning excluding overtime and bonuses. The employer will contribute an amount equal to 3% of employees’ earning excluding overtime and bonuses. Rising to 4% for full-time employees with more than 10 years of continuous service.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for employee’s spouse, child, spouse’s child, parent, parent’s spouse, sibling, father-in-law, mother-in-law, grandparent or grandchild.

Seniority – recall rights: 1 year for full-time employees. 6 months for part-time employees.

Probationary period: 6 months or 754 hours worked, whichever is greater.

Uniforms/clothing: Employer provides 4 shirts and 2 pairs of pants per year for full-time employees. 2 shirts and 1 pair of pants will be provided to part-time employees.

Passenger agents: $12.75 per hour rising in 6 steps to $18.18

Editor’s notes: Maternity leave: Maternity and child care leave will be granted in accordance with the Canada Labour Code. Allowance: Employees working at the Sioux Lookout base will receive a Northern Allowance of $135 per month payable on the second pay period of each month. $150 effective May 1, 2016.
