Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2019. Signed on Sept. 21, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2016: 1.5%
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective July 1, 2018: 1.25%
Paid holidays: 8 days, plus noon on Christmas Eve until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31. 1 additional day in conjunction with Canada Day holiday in order to provide 4-day weekend — except when Canada Day falls on Wednesday — in which case additional day will be observed on day mutually agreeable to employee, employer.
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month to start, 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 3 years, 21 days after 16 years, 22 days after 17 years, 23 days after 18 years, 24 days after 19 years, 25 days after 20 years, 30 days after 30 years. 
Overtime: May be taken as lieu time, maximum 105 hours carried over into next year. 
Sick leave: 105 days per illness or injury or until employee is eligible for LTD benefits, whichever comes first. 
Pension: Brock University Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, child, spouse’s child, grandchild, foster-child who is currently in employee’s custody, brother, sister, father, mother). 3 days for death in extended family (father-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, stepmother, stepfather, foster-parent).
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay. 
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Mileage: Reimbursement in accordance with university’s travel, meals and hospitality expense policy.

Editor’s notes: Graduation leave: 1 day to attend post-secondary graduation of employee’s or spouse’s child. Professional development fund: Maximum $800 per employee per year for skill development opportunities (such as conference presentations, attendance at conferences) and resources (such as subscriptions to relevant journals, purchase of books or other resources related to assigned work).
