Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on June 21, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.3%
Effective July 1, 2018: 1.4%
Effective July 1, 2019: 1.5%
Shift premium: If professional librarian member works shift of 5 hours on Saturday or Sunday, employee will be entitled to full day off in lieu.
Paid holidays: 9 days, plus period beginning at noon on Dec. 24 and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31. 1 additional day in conjunction with Canada Day holiday in order to provide a 4-day weekend. 
Vacations with pay: 22 days per academic year for faculty members, librarians. 25 days for librarians after 12 years, 27 days after 16 years, 30 days after 21 years. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 105 days. 
AD&D: Maximum coverage of $500,000 (previously $300,000).
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for maximum coverage of $500,000 (previously $300,000).
Pension: Brock University Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, same-sex partner, child, sibling, parent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, foster parent, ward). 5 days for death of any other individual who holds close and personal relationship to employee. 
Probationary period: 36 months for lecturer, assistant professor. 24 months for associate professor.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 1 month’s pay per year of service, maximum 24 months, minimum 6 months. 
Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre

Professor: $121,544 rising 2 steps to $125,095
Associate professor: $95,296 rising 2 steps to $98,079
Assistant professor: $79,476 rising 2 steps to $81,798
Lecturer: $61,389 rising 2 steps to $63,182
Librarian 4: $87,268 rising 2 steps to $89,817
Librarian 3: $78,622 rising 2 steps to $80,919
Librarian 2: $70,832 rising 2 steps to $72,901
Librarian 1: $64,981 rising 2 steps to $66,879
Overload course stipends: $7,000 for half-credit course, $14,000 for full-credit course
Stipends for chairs, centre directors and program directors: $5,600 rising 2 steps to $6,000
Editor’s notes: Away from home campus: $400 for each half-credit course employees are assigned to teach away from home campus. Professional expense reimbursement: $2,250 per year in 2017-2018; $2,325 per year in 2018-2019; and $2,400 per year in 2019-2020. Any unspent balance will be carried forward. Reimbursement for conference travel: $750 per budget year (May 1 to April 30) for travel assistance.
