Renewal agreement: Effective June 14, 2016, to June 13, 2020. Ratified on Oct. 20, 2016. Signed on Oct. 21, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective first year: $0.30 per hour
Effective second year: $0.30 per hour
Effective third year: $0.30 per hour
Effective fourth year: $0.35 per hour
Shift premium: Afternoon shift: $0.55 per hour (previously $0.50 per hour) for work that begins between 1 p.m. and 10:59 p.m. Night shift: $0.60 per hour (previously $0.55 per hour) for work that begins between 11 p.m. and 2:59 a.m. Lead hand: $1 per hour. Maintenance relief: $5 per hour.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 12 years, 5 weeks after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours or on a Sunday. 
Meal allowance: When employee works more than 10 hours per day, meal or $15 will be provided.
Medical benefits: Burnbrae Farms Group Benefit Plan. Employee contributes $46 per week for cost of plan.
Dental: Alberta Retail Meat Industry Dental Plan.
Sick leave: 40 hours per year. Banked time is paid out in November. If employee has not used any time, a bonus of 2 days will be paid.
Pension: Canadian Commercial Workers’ Industry Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 1 week for death in immediate family (spouse, legal dependant, parent, child, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, niece, nephew, step relatives, any relative living in the household of the employee).
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 300 hours of 60 days, whichever comes first. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Safety shoes: $150 (previously $120).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide smocks to each employee and will pay for laundering. Overalls will be supplied to employees in the maintenance department.

Candler/packer: $19.20 rising 3 steps to $20.15
Line packer: $19.05 rising 3 steps to $20
Over-wrap operator: $19.05 rising 3 steps to $20
Shipper/receiver: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Machine operator: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Order selector: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Pack-off labour: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Loader: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Sanitation: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Quality control: $20.05 rising 3 steps to $21
Head shipper/receiver: $21.05 rising 3 steps to $22
Line tech: $21.05 rising 3 steps to $22
Utilities coordinator: $21.05 rising 3 steps to $22
Trainer: $21.05 rising 3 steps to $22
Head order selector: $21.05 rising 3 steps to $22
Maintenance: $31.84 rising 3 steps to $32.79
Editor’s notes: Deletion of Boxing Day as a paid holiday: Boxing Day will no longer be recognized as a paid holiday. In exchange, the employer will pay all qualified employees 10 hours to be paid in November each year.
