Calgary (197 stage crew workers) and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States its Territories and Canada (IATSE), Local 212

Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2017, to Feb. 28, 2018. Ratified on April 7, 2017. Signed on April 13, 2017.
Paid holidays: 9 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6% pay.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for hours worked on a Sunday between midnight and 8 a.m. Double time for hours worked after 12 hours per day, 60 hours per week and all hours after 8 hours Sunday.
Meal allowance: When regular meal breaks not possible, promoter will provide a meal and will pay extra half hour. 
Pension: Employer pays 10% vacation pay, with 4% going to the union group RRSP.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours for set-ups, put-outs or special calls. Minimum 2 hours where the set-up immediately precedes performance. If a put-out immediately follows a performance and is completed within 1 hour, minimum will be 2 hours for those working both show and set-up or put-out, where applicable. Minimum 3.5 hours for a cancelled show call, 4 hours for any other type of cancellation with minimum 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.
Uniforms/clothing: Employees must wear black shoes, black socks, black pants, black shirt provided by employee. The IATSE 212 crest — which shall measure no larger than 3” x 3” — may be shown on the ball cap in a mutually agreed to shade of grey so as to not be visible during set changes during the Grandstand show performance.
Tool allowance: IATSE crew will provide hammer, multi-driver (includes flathead, Robinson and Philips bits) crescent wrench and pliers. Company will advise union is additional tools such as cordless drills, multi meters are required. Company will provide hoists, forklifts, tractors, trucks, and trailers when required.

Department head 1 (includes carpenter, fly, electrical, sound, all ground riggers, wardrobe): $33.13 
Crew 2 (includes forklift and crane operators): $30.30
High rigger: $38.73
Spotlights: $30.95

Department head 1: $115.95 
Crew 2: $106.05
Spotlights: $108.33
Editor’s notes: Liability insurance: The union must maintain directors and officers general liability insurance of at least $3 million.
