Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2014, to March 31, 2016. Signed on Sept. 2, 2015. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2014: 1.5%
Effective April 1, 2015: 1.5%
Shift premium: $2 per hour for irregular or rotating shifts. $2 per hour for all time worked during the weekend shift. $2 per hour for all time worked during the late hour shift. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month worked to start, 1 1/3 days per month worked after 5 years, 2 1/12 days per month worked after 15 years and 2 1/2 days per month worked after 25 years.  
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked beyond 7.5 hours per day. Double time for all hours worked beyond 12 hours per day. Time and one-half for the first 7.5 hours worked on the 1st day of rest and double time for all hours worked thereafter. Double time for all hours worked on 2nd day of rest. 
Meal allowance: $10 after 3 hours of overtime. 
Sick leave: Earned at 1 1/4 days per month worked. Maximum of 10 days will be paid.  
Bereavement leave: 5 days for employee’s spouse, father, father-in-law, mother, mother-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, foster parent, brother, sister, child, stepchild, grandparent, spouse’s grandparent, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchild or spouse’s grandchild. Up to 3 days for travel. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at applicable overtime rate. 
Probationary period: 1 year. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years. 
Severance: Layoff: 2 weeks’ pay after 1 year of continuous service, 3 weeks’ pay after 10 years and 4 weeks’ pay after 20 years. Death: 1 week’s pay per year of continuous service. 
Safety shoes: $150 every 2 years for CSA Green Tag approved safety shoes.

Level 1: $17.80 per hour rising in 5 steps to $21.66
Level 2: $19.95 rising in 5 steps to $24.27
Level 3: $21.94 rising in 5 steps to $26.69

Level 5: $26.55 rising in 5 steps to $32.29
Level 6: $28.66 rising in 5 steps to $34.88
Level 7: $30.95 rising in 5 steps to $37.66
Level 8: $33.44 rising in 5 steps to $40.59
Level 9: $26.12 rising in 5 steps to $43.93
Level 10: $38.26 rising in 5 steps to $46.57

Editor’s notes: Maternity leave: 18 weeks. Parental leave: 37 weeks. Spousal union: 5 paid days. Family responsibility: Up to 5 days. Standby: $18 for every 8-hour shift on standby. Layoff: 2 weeks’ notice for employees with 3 months’ service, 4 weeks after 1 year, 8 weeks after 4 years, 16 weeks after 7 years and 24 weeks after 10 years.
