Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2021 to Dec. 31, 2023. Signed on Jan. 1, 2021.
Wage adjustments:
Effective July 1, 2021: 3.5%

Shift premium: $20 (previously $16.48) for each full night shift worked. $25 (previously $17.18) for each full shift worked, which begins on Saturday. $50 for each full shift worked, which begins on Sunday. 40% for employee who is CNSC-certified and responsible operation of NRU reactor (minimum payment $35,000). 5% for employee who is CNSC-certified and who is appointed as health physicist for NRU.
Paid holidays: 13 days, including 3 days as floating holidays.
Overtime: Time and one-half for any work after normal work day; double time after 10 hours per day. Time and one-half for any work on day of rest; double time for all time worked on second day of rest.
Meal allowance: $12 in respect of meal, except where free meals are provided and accepted, for employees working more than 90 minutes of management-directed extra hours (employees will receive 30-minute meal period if hours are at end of regular work period). Employees will be entitled to further 30-minute meal period at intervals of 5 hours beyond end of previous meal period.
Sick leave: Employees will receive 6 days sick leave on commencing employment. Employees will be credited with further 6 days sick leave on each subsequent April 1.
Pension: Canadian Energy and Related Industries (CERI) pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours of pay.
Probationary period: 6 months (period may be extended for up to 6 months).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years for disciplinary notations.
Severance: 4 weeks’ pay for each year of service from after 1 year; 3 weeks’ pay for each year of service after 6 years; 2 weeks’ pay for each year of service after 10 years; maximum 52 weeks total.
