Renewal agreement: Effective Oct. 1, 2016, to Sept. 30, 2018. Signed on Jan. 5, 2017.
Shift premium: Lead hand: 6%. Dual ticket: $2 per hour. Steward: $1 per hour. Steward with tool box 1: $1 per hour. Steward with tool box 2: $1.25 per hour. Steward with tool box 3: $1.75 per hour. Chief steward with tool box 1: $2.25 per hour. Chief steward with tool box 2: $2.50 per hour. Chief steward with tool box 3: $3 per hour.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6% per pay, 8% after 3 years’ service.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all time after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. 
Meal allowance: Employees who work beyond 12 hours per day will be provided with additional one-half hour paid meal period, meal provided by employer.
Medical benefits: CLAC Health and Welfare Trust Fund after 350 hours worked.
Dental: Basic services: 100%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Comprehensive: 50% maximum $2,000 per person per year. Orthodontic: 50% maximum $3,000 lifetime per child younger than 19.
Vision: Younger than 21: $300 per year. Older than 21: $300 every 2 years.
STD: 60% weekly earnings, maximum $600 per week. Payable after first day of accident or hospitalization, 14th day of illness, maximum 119 days.
LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum $2,600 per month, payable after 119 days.
AD&D: Coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000.
Pension: Employer will contribute to union-sponsored group RSP and CLAC Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, legal dependant, parents, legal guardians, siblings. 3 days for death of parents-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 3 months. 
Safety shoes: All employees will wear CSA-approved safety boots supplied by employee.
Uniforms/clothing: All employees will wear CSA-approved safety hats supplied by employer. Employer will supply: gloves, hearing protection, non-prescription safety glasses, shields, goggles, fire-retardant coveralls, rain gear, particulate masks, fall-arrest equipment.
