Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2017, to May 31, 2020. Ratified on Feb. 13, 2017. Signed on Feb. 14, 2017.
Shift premium: Shift differential: Minimum 5% (previously 10%) of wage schedule.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 6% of gross earnings each pay period; 8% after 10 years’ service.
Overtime: Time and one-half after 40 hours per week. May be banked, maximum 260 hours per year. Must be taken with 12 months of being banked. 
Medical benefits: Health and welfare plan underwritten by Merit Contractors Association.
Pension: Effective June 1, 2017: $1.50 per hour for apprentices, journeymen on contributions made by employee to RRSP plan.
Sample rates of hourly pay (current):
First-year apprentice: $18
Second-year apprentice: $21.60
Third-year apprentice: $25.20
Fourth-year apprentice: $28.80
Journeyman class: $36
Editor’s notes: Subsistence allowance: On out-of-town work, if board and lodging not provided by one of employer’s customers, employer will provide allowance. Travelling expense: Employee reimbursed at current CRA automobile allowance rates (previously $0.42 per hour) when using personal vehicle for employer. Free zone: west to Stony Plain, north to Morinville, N.E. to Fort Saskatchewan, south to Leduc, east to Tofield
