Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on Oct. 5, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 0%
Effective April 1, 2017: 2.5% 
Effective April 1, 2018: 0%
Shift premium: $1.75 per hour when majority of hours fall between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1.50 per hour (previously $1.75 per hour) when majority of hours are on Saturday or Sunday. Team leader: $1 per hour. Special projects: $1.25 per hour.
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 3 years, 25 days after 10 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 2 hours, double time thereafter. May be taken as time off. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $500 per year for flexible-spending account which may be used for health, vision costs.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 10 days per year. May be carried forward, maximum 10 days.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%.
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25%.
Pension: Employer matches employee contributions to pension plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, any of following relations of employee or spouse: parent, child, grandchild, grandparent, brother, sister, step-relatives, fiancé, guardian). 3 additional days for travel if needed. 1/2 day per year for death of another relative or friend.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: 2 hours’ or period worked, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: Regular employees: 6 months; administrative-support employees: 3 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Mileage: $0.50 per kilometre.

Kitchen assistant: $14.15 rising 3 steps to $14.50
Licenced practical nurse: $23.50 rising 3 steps to $24.09 
Occupational therapist: $33.18 rising 3 steps to $34.01
Provisional psychologist: $33.36 rising 3 steps to $34.19
Psychological assistant: $23.50 rising 3 steps to $24.09

Editor’s notes: Travel expenses: When employee is required to travel she will be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses as per CASA Travel and Subsistence Policies document. Estate, moving leave: If employee is appointed as executor or administrator of estate, 2 days per year. When employee relocates household will be granted 1 day of leave. Educational allowance (per hour): Active registration in AARN plus diploma in psychiatric nursing (or vice versa): $0.40; certification by Child and Youth Care Association of Alberta: $0.40; other relevant diplomas or certificates: $0.40; Baccalaureate degree: $0.75; master’s degree: $1. PhD: $1.25.
