Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on June 2, 2016.
Wage adjustments:
For union BSW (Band 9A) merge with union MSW (Band 9B) 
Effective April 1, 2016: 4% + $2,750 (one-time lump sum) 
Effective April 1, 2017: 4% + 1.25%
Effective April 1, 2018: 4% + 1.25%
For all others 
Effective April 1, 2016: $2,750 (one-time lump sum) 
Effective April 1, 2017: 1.25%
Effective April 1, 2018: 1.25%
Shift premium: $0.70 per hour for afternoon shift. $0.75 per hour for night shift.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater day in lieu of Remembrance Day. 
Vacations with pay: 4 weeks after 1 year, 5 weeks after 9 years, 6 weeks after 18 years, 7 weeks after 25 years.
Meal allowance: For work more than 2 hours past regular hours, $10 ($20 if outside Niagara Region).
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Orthodontic services: 50% coverge, maximum $750 per year, lifetime maximum of $1,500 for dependent children 6 to 18 years old.
Vision: $300 every 24 months.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, partner, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild. 3 days for death of brother, sister, grandparent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, ward, blood-relative residing in employee’s household. 1 day for death of spouse, partner of employee’s child, stepparent of employee’s spouse or partner, foster-parent of employee or employee’s spouse or partner, foster-child of employee or employee’s spouse or partner, grandparent of employee’s spouse or partner, step-grandparent or step-grandchild of employee or employee’s spouse or partner, aunt or uncle, niece or nephew, relative of employee who is dependent on employee for care or assistance.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Severance: 2 weeks per year, maximum 26 weeks.
Safety shoes: Maximum $125 per year for maintenance 1 and courier-maintenance 2 employees.
Uniforms/clothing: $100 per year for industrial clothing.
Mileage: $0.49 per kilometre (previously $0.47 per kilometre). $20 per month for employees in child welfare (investigation & assessment, ongoing service, child-in-care, foster-care resources, kinship, family finder and adoption worker) as well as family enrichment workers, new outlooks and beginnings workers and adult protective services workers who use personal cars regularly for work.
