Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on April 18, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Jan.  2017: 2%
Effective Jan.  2018: 1.5%
Effective Jan.  2019: 1.5%
Effective Jan.  2020: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1.25 for every hour worked during evening or graveyard shifts. Employees who work at telecommunications centre or OCC will receive 1-time payment in lieu of shift differential. Payment will occur in first regular pay of December. For 2018 and 2019: $1,500; for 2020 and 2021: $1,600.
Paid holidays: 12 days, plus 2 floating holidays, which may be added to following year’s vacation days.
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 12 months, 15 days after 24 months, 25 days after 144 months, 25 days after 300 months, 35 days after 33 years. Maximum 2 weeks may be carried over. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regular hours. May be banked, maximum 100 hours. 
Meal allowance: Employee will be provided with hot meal if working more than 2 hours of overtime and every subsequent 4 hours thereafter. Hot meal or $10 will be provided after 8 hours of scheduled overtime. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums, maximum $85 for family plan, maximum $45 for single plan.
Dental: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums, maximum $85 for family plan, maximum $45 for single plan. 
Sick leave: One-half day per month for each year of service. 
LTD: Employer pays 70% of premiums, employee pays 30% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Pension: Pension Plan for Employees of the City of Moncton. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family. 3 days for death in extended family (sister-in-law, brother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, former guardian, any other relative for whom employee is required to administer bereavement responsibilities). Additional 2 days for travelling, if required. One-half day for employee to attend funeral as pallbearer, mourner or in any official capacity.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.  
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half. Double time for minimum 3 hours if on second day of rest. 
Probationary period: 6 months.  
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.

Editor’s notes: Disability bank: Employer and union will maintain short-term-disability bank for partially replacing income of any employee who is absent from work due to accident or illness. Employer will initially fund bank with $30,000. Service pay: For employees hired before April 30, 2014: 1% of salary after 5 years of service; 1.5% of salary after 10 years of service; 2.5% of salary after 15 years of service; 3% of salary after 20 years of service. Will be paid last regular pay in November of each year. Standby allowance: $100 per day (previously $75 per day) for employees on standby during regular 2 days and subsequent days of rest period; $50 per day (previously $25 per day) for employees on standby during regular work week. Vehicle allowance: $700 per month for each inspector.
