Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 1, 2016, to Oct. 31, 2019. Signed on Aug. 16, 2017.
Shift premium: 10% extra when employee is required to perform duties normally performed by person in position excluded from bargaining unit.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 21 days after 2 years, 26 days after 7 years, 31 days after 14 years, 36 days after 19 years. Unused credits cannot be carried over, but will be liquidated in cash during April.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all excess hours worked. Double time after 4 hours of overtime and for all hours worked on second day of rest. May be taken as lieu time off, may be carried over into following year. 
Medical benefits: Northern Employee Benefits Services Group Benefit Plan.
Sick leave: 1 1/4 days per month. Bonus of 2 days will be converted into vacation days if employee uses less than 10 days'sick leave per year. 
Pension: Northern Employee Benefits Services Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, brother, sister, spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, adopted child, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, any relative residing in employee’s household).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: The greater of compensation at appropriate overtime rate or compensation equivalent to 4 hours’ pay at straight-time rate.
Probationary period: 6 months from day employee is first appointed to association or 3 months after employee has been transferred or promoted. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 1 year.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay for first 2 years of service, 1 week's pay for each successive year of service thereafter. 
Safety shoes: Maximum $500 for administration employees. Maximum $750 for maintenance employees (previously $250 per year).
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide each maintenance, outside worker with summer work gloves, winter work gloves, neoprene and latex safety gloves. Employer shall supply maintenance employees with following articles (if required by employer or Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission): Hard hats, aprons, welding goggles, dust protection, eye protection (except prescription lenses), ear protection. (Previously $250 allowance per year).
Tool allowance: Employer will replace worn out or broken tools.

Editor’s notes: Quarantine: Employees shall be granted special leave with pay for time lost through quarantine when employee provides employer with medical certificate. Hunting, fishing, harvesting opportunities: Maximum 5 days per year to employee to take advantage of traditional hunting, fishing or harvesting opportunities, of short duration. Standby pay: $2 for each hour that employee is on standby; $3 for each hour on days of rest and designated paid holidays. Cooling-off period: Employee who willfully terminates employment as result of misunderstanding or argument will be allowed to return to work and remain employed if within 2 working days once during life of agreement. Social justice fund: All full-time and part-time employees will contribute $20 per year to PSAC Social Justice Fund by deduction in first pay period in November.
