Renewal agreement: Effective May 16, 2015, to May 15, 2018.

Wage adjustments:
Effective Aug. 2, 2015: $650 lump sum payment
Effective May 16, 2016: 2.25%
Effective May 16, 2017: 2.25%

Shift premium: $1.30 per hour for lead hands. $1.90 per hour on a Saturday. $2.30 per hour on a Sunday. $1.10 per hour on the night shift.

Paid holidays: 13 days.

Vacations with pay: 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 10 years, 5 weeks after 20 years, 6 weeks after 30 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours of overtime, double time for all hours worked beyond 12 in one day.

Sick leave: 6 days per year.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for the death of an employee’s wife, husband, child, father, mother, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law. 1 day for the death of an employee’s grandmother, grandfather, grandparents-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law. Up to 2 additional days when travel beyond 350 km is required.

Seniority – recall rights: 18 months or a period equal to one-half of employee’s seniority to a maximum of 3 years, whichever is greater.

Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours at time and one-half. $7 per each hour an unscheduled employee is required to be “on call.”

Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months given no further discipline has occurred. After 2 years from date of suspension, warning or other discipline, file will be removed from employee’s file.

Safety shoes: $175 per year. $185 per year effective 2016.

Uniforms/clothing: 3 trousers, 5 shirts or sweatshirts, 4 T-shirts, 1 three-in-one jacket, 2 caps or toques per year.
