Shift premium: $2.30 per hour for all work between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. (other than employees whose shifts begin and end between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.). $2.55 per hour for all work between 12:01 a.m. Saturday and midnight Sunday.
Paid holidays: 14 days.
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 10 years, 25 days after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after regularly scheduled work day or work week.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Vision: $150 for single vision lenses and frames, $200 for bifocal lenses and frames, $250 for trifocal and progressive adaptive lenses and frames every 3 years. $250 every 2 years for contact lenses when prescribed for severe corneal scarring, keratoconus or aphakia, and if cornea is impaired so that visual acuity cannot be improved to at least to 20/40 level in better eye with eyeglasses.
Sick leave: 2 days for each month of service, maximum 480 days per 20-year period or 240 days per 20-year period for employees hired after May 4, 2004.
AD&D: Coverage of 2 times annual salary.
Life insurance: Coverage of 2 times annual salary, maximum $1,000,000.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of mother, father, brother, sister, child, spouse, legal guardian, common-law spouse, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepchild, near relative living in same household. 1 day for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. 4 days if death occurs outside province. 2 additional days when extraordinary circumstances prevail.

Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay at overtime rates.
Probationary period: 6 months, except for employees who are required to undertake training on employment. Probationary period will commence immediately following such training.
