Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2017, to Feb. 1, 2020. Ratified on Jan. 26, 2017. Signed on Jan. 26, 2017. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Feb. 1, 2017: 1.5%
Effective Feb. 1, 2018: 1.5%
Effective Feb. 1, 2017: 2%
Shift premium: Afternoon shift: $1.15 per hour. Night shift: $1.20 per hour. Lead hand: $2 per hour. Traffic coordinator premium: $0.59 per hour. Dual-ticketed employees: $2.68 per hour. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 4 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years, 6 weeks or 12% after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half after regular hours worked. May be banked, maximum 80 hours.
Meal allowance: $15 if actual finish time exceeds anticipated finish time of overtime.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. Preventive: 90% coverage. Other basic: 80% coverage. Restorative: 85% coverage. Maximum $2,000 per year. Orthodontic: 60% coverage, maximum $3,000 lifetime.
Vision: $275 every 2 years (previously $250 every 2 years). Effective Feb. 1, 2019: $300 every 2 years.
Paramedical: Massage: $50 per visit, maximum $500 per year. Chiropractic: $40 per visit, maximum $500 per year.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Sick leave: 56 hours per year.
LTD: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. 
AD&D: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will make 3% contribution to group retirement savings plan. Effective Feb. 1, 2018: 3.25%. Effective Feb. 1, 2019: 3.5%. Effective 8 years from the employee’s start date: Maximum 5%. Effective Feb. 1, 2018: Maximum 5.25%. Effective Feb. 1, 2019: Maximum 5.5%.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of wife, husband, legal dependant, child, father, mother, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law. 1 day for death of grandmother, grandfather, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew. Additional 2 days for travel time.
Seniority – recall rights: Equal to seniority to start; 12 months if seniority 12 months or greater; 24 months if seniority greater than 60 months. 
Probationary period: 480 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months; discipline resulting from injury: 24 months.
Severance: After 1 year of seniority, 2 weeks’ pay per year, maximum 54 weeks.
Safety shoes: $240 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 3 trousers, 2 sweatshirts, 5 T-shirts, 2 golf shirts, 1 toque, 5 standard coveralls for maintenance/sanitation employees per year; 1 jacket every 2 years. Employer will provide rubber boots when required.
Tool allowance: Company will provide fire insurance for maintenance employees required to have own tools, maximum $2,000.

Temporary: $17.68 rising 3 steps to $18.58 
Probationary: $20.40 rising 3 steps to $21.44 
Forklift: $27.34 rising 3 steps to $28.73 
Receiver: $27.99 rising 3 steps to $29.41 
Floater: $27.99 rising 3 steps to $29.41 
Machine operator: $27.34 rising 3 steps to $28.73
QA technician: $28.49 rising 3 steps to $29.94 
Syrup maker: $27.99 rising 3 steps to $29.41
Sanitation: $27.34 rising 3 steps to $28.73 
Licenced journeyman: $38.91 rising 3 steps to $40.89 
Fourth-class power engineer: $38.91 rising 3 steps to $40.89 
Controls/PLC specialist: $38.91 rising 3 steps to $40.89
PM technician: $28.69 rising 3 steps to $30.15
Editor’s notes: Hair net: All employees entering plant will wear hair net. Food safety: Employees can speak freely with management, union regarding food safety issues and are expected to bring potential issues to management. Company will adopt “nothing-to-hide” approach to food safety.
