Renewal agreement: Effective Jan 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2019. Signed on May 10, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective first full pay period 2017: 1.8%
Effective first full pay period 2018: 1.8%
Effective first full pay period 2019: 1.8%
Shift premium: $1.50 per hour when registered practical nurse performs duties as recognized to be within scope of practice by College of Nurses. $1 per hour for all hours worked as lead hand for Bobier Villa only. $0.60 per hour for each shift worked if major portion falls between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. $0.70 per hour for each shift worked if major portion falls between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. $0.40 per hour (previously $0.30 per hour) for each shift worked if major portion falls between Friday at 10 p.m. and Monday at 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 2 floating days (must be taken before December 23 or will be forfeited). 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 12 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 1 additional day, maximum 5 days after 25 years for Terrace Lodge and Elgin Manor only. 1 day per month, maximum 2 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 3 years, 5 weeks after 12 years, 6 weeks after 19 years, 1 additional day, maximum 5 days after 25 years for Bobier Villa only.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work in excess of 8 hours per shift or 80 hours in 2-week pay period. May be taken as time off in lieu. 
Meal allowance: Meal will be provided if employee is requested to work for not less than 2 hours beyond scheduled shift and meal period occurs.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: $300 once every 24 months, 1 eye exam for employees not covered by provincial plan, maximum $90 (previously $80) every 24 months.
Paramedical: $900 combined per year (previously $800) for chiropractor, physiotherapy and registered massage therapy (massage therapy requires referral from medical doctor).
Sick leave: After 60 days of employment: 10 days, plus 2 carryover days to next year if not used for Terrace Lodge and Elgin Manor only. One-half day per month, maximum 120 days, for Bobier Villa only. 
STD: 75% of weekly earnings for 17 weeks.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for 24-month coverage of 2/3 monthly earnings, maximum $3,000. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $40,000 for Terrace Lodge and Elgin Manor. 100% of billed rate of HOOGLIP or equivalent at 2 times employee’s annual salary for Bobier Villa.
Pension: Employer pays 50% of costs, employee pays 50% of costs for OMERS Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse (defined by law), child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, sister, stepsister, brother, stepbrother. 3 days for death of foster-parent, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandmother, grandfather, grandmother-in-law, grandfather-in-law. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, employee’s niece, nephew or niece or nephew of employee’s spouse (as defined by law).
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Probationary period: 40 days worked for full-time, 320 hours worked for part-time.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Uniforms/clothing: $0.10 per hour (previously $0.08 per hour) towards cost of purchasing, maintaining, laundering uniforms. Maintenance employees will receive uniforms and no uniform allowance. 
Mileage: County rate for maintenance employees only.
