Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2018, to Dec. 31, 2020. Ratified on Jan. 15, 2018. Signed on Jan. 24, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective 2018: 1.25%
Effective 2019: 1.25%
Effective 2020: 2%
Shift premium: $1.25 per hour (previously $1 per hour) where majority of hours fall between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. $1.75 per hour (previously $1.50 per hour) where majority of hours fall between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1.50 per hour (previously $1 per hour) where majority of hours fall between 3 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. on Monday. $4 per hour (previously $3 per hour) for all hours working alone. $2 per hour (previously $1 per hour) for employee who is assigned duties of head housekeeper for longer than 4 hours.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 5 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 22 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day (10 hours per day for cooks, head cooks) or 40 hours per week. May be taken as time off in lieu. May be banked, maximum 26.7 hours.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Employees will receive health spending account of: $650 (previously $600) for 2018; effective 2019: $675; effective 2020: $700.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1 1/4 days per month. May be accumulated maximum 16 days (96 hours for employees working 6 hours per day; 128 hours for employees working 8 hours per day; 160 hours for employees working 10-hour days)
STD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employees will participate in Local Authorities Pension Plan after 2,080 hours worked. Employee will contribute minimum $25 per month, employer contributes $25 per month. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of immediate family members of employee or spouse (sibling, grandparent, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law). 2 additional days for travel more than 320 kilometres. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, cousin, or close personal friend.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum of 2 hours at time and one-half or time and one-half for all hours worked, whichever is greater.
Probationary period: 520 hours worked or first 6 months of employment, whichever comes first. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.

Editor’s notes: On-call pay: $1.50 for each hour on call after completion of regular shift. $1.75 for each hour on call after completion of regular shift on that day if during weekend (Friday 3 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.) or on named holiday. Meals: Employees will be entitled to have one meal and two snacks at cost of $4 per day when employee is working. Cost will increase effective Jan. 1, 2016, and each year thereafter. Effective 2018: $4.28; effective 2019: $4.33; effective 2020: $4.42. Parking: Employees who are working will be provided with parking with cold weather plug-ins for duration of shift at no cost to employee.
