Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 13, 2023 to Dec. 31, 2026. Ratified on Jan. 13, 2023. Signed on Jan. 13, 2023.

Shift premium: $1.75 per hour (previously $1.50 per hour) for shifts that begin between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.

Paid holidays: 13 days, including National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 6% after 1 year, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 15 years.

Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Pension: Employer will match employee contributions, maximum 6%, into RRSP, after 1 year of service.

Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family; 5 days for death of current spouse, parent, child. 1 half-day for death among relatives other than immediate family. 1 additional day upon demonstrating need for additional time due to extenuating circumstances.

Probationary period: 90 days calculated from date of first shift. Part-time employees who work less than 36 shifts in first 90 days of employment will be considered probationary employee for additional 90 days.

Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for all forms of discipline.

Safety shoes: $155 per year for full-time employees. Part-time employees will pay first $30 of total cost and employer will pay remaining total cost, maximum $105 per year.
