Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2016, to May 31, 2021. Signed on March 24, 2017.
Shift premium: $0.50 per hour for holder of level 3 first-aid certificate. $0.85 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) for work on night shift. $0.55 per hour (previously $0.45 per hour) for work on weekend. $0.50 per hour for members of emergency response team provided they attend 80% of training sessions. $1 per hour for employee designated as lead hand. $0.50 per hour for employees who operator SX boiler. $1 per hour for employees who train truck drivers. $10 per shift for employees in mine operations who relieve another operator at shift change in pit. $0.50 for acting as shop steward. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 6.66 hours per month, maximum 80 hours or 4% to start, 10 hours per month, maximum 120 hours or 6% after 24 months, 13.3 hours per month, maximum 160 hours or 8% after 72 months, 15 hours per month, maximum 180 hours 10% after 96 months, 15.8 hours per month, maximum 190 hours or 10% after 120 months, 16.7 hours per month, maximum 200 hours or 10% after 156 months, 18.30 hours per month, maximum 220 hours or 10.5% after 204 months. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Double time for all work after 12 hours per day or 48 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for British Columbia Medical Services Plan and for arranged benefit plan. 
Dental: 100% coverage for basic services, 50% for major restorative, maximum $2,000 per year. 50% coverage for orthodontic, maximum $3,000 per year.
Paramedical: $750 maximum for chiropractor, registered massage therapist, naturopath (not supplements), osteopath, physiotherapist, podiatrist/chiropodist (excluding surgery), speech therapist, Christian Science healer, specialist in acupuncture and reflexology. $1,000 for psychological and clinical counsellors. 
STD: Coverage of 60% of weekly earnings, maximum $700.
LTD: Coverage of 60% of monthly earnings, maximum $2,000.
AD&D: Coverage of 1-times annual earnings, maximum $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of 1-times annual earnings, maximum $100,000.
Pension: Employer will contribute 6.25% to retirement savings plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, grandparent, grandparent of spouse, spouse, partner, child, common-law spouse or partner’s child, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchild, stepchild, niece, nephew).
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 480 hours worked. 
Severance: 1 week's notice, or pay in lieu of, per year of service, maximum 20 weeks. 
Safety shoes: $0.26 per hour for all certified trades, registered apprentices, non-certified trades working in trade classification. $0.20 per hour (previously $0.15 per hour) for all other employees.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer pays 75%, employee pays 25% for coverall cleaning services.
Tool allowance: $0.65 per hour (previously $0.55 per hour for journeymen, apprentices; $0.59 per hour for millwrights, mechanics) for tradespersons or apprentices.

Editor’s notes: Transportation: Employer shall arrange and pay for suitable transportation from Williams Lake to mine site. Employees who live within a daily commute of mine, but do not live along transportation route, will be paid travel allowance of $15 for each day worked. Training fund: Employer contributes 0.5% of gross wages to union’s education and training fund.
