Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 1, 2017, to Aug. 31, 2020. Ratified on May 31, 2017. Signed on Oct. 3, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective year 1: 0%
Effective year 2: 2.5% lump sum on Dec. 15, 2018
Effective year 3: 3% on Sept. 1, 2019
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 12 days to start, 15 days after 3 years, 20 days after 5 years, 25 days after 10 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day or 35 hours per week for clerical staff, library clerks, assistant library clerks, educational assistants or 40 hours per week for IT technicians, instructors, maintenance, custodial staff. May be banked, but must be used by June 30 each year.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Alberta Health Care and for A.S.E.B.P. Extended Health Care plan. Employer will provide health-care spending account of $325 per school year (previously $300 per school year).
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums for A.S.E.B.P. dental plan 3.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for A.S.E.B.P. vision and hearing aid care plan 3.
Sick leave: 2 days per month of service.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums A.S.E.B.P. life insurance plan 2.
Pension: Local Authorities Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse, child, son-in-law, daughter-in-law. 5 days for following relatives of employee or employee’s spouse: guardian, grandparent, parent, brother, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchild, nephew, niece.
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours of pay at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 120 working days (previously 180 days).

Aboriginal liaison worker: $19.02 rising 2 steps to $19.59
Assistant library clerk: $19.31 rising 2 steps to $19.88
Custodian: $20.42 rising 2 steps to $21.04
Early learning instructor: $20.64 rising 2 steps to $21.26
Education assistant: $19.02 rising 2 steps to $19.59
Head custodian: $23.35 rising 2 steps to $24.05
IT technician: $26.46 rising 2 steps to $27.25
Journeyman cosmetologist: $20.71 rising 2 steps to $21.33
Library clerk: $19.60 rising 2 steps to $20.18
Maintenance: $23.39 rising 2 steps to $24.40
Mechanic instructor: $38.76 rising 2 steps to $39.93
Payroll clerk: $24.69 rising 2 steps to $25.43
Personal care EA: $20.64 rising 2 steps to $21.26
School secretary: $19.58 rising 2 steps to $20.17
Editor’s notes: Travel benefit: $4,000 (or maximum allowed by Canada Revenue) of annual salary shall be set as travel-assistance benefit paid.
