Renewal agreement: Effective Nov. 1, 2014, to Oct. 31, 2017. Signed on March 22, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective Nov. 1, 2014: 2%.
Effective Nov. 1, 2015: 1.5%
Effective Nov. 1, 2016: 1.5%
Shift premium: $1 per hour for work between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Paid holidays: 12 days.  
Vacations with pay: 1.25 days per month to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 6 years, 5 weeks after 13 years, 6 weeks after 20 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half, double time if more than 4 hours per day. Double time for any work on a holiday.
Meal allowance: $10 per day if working more than 2 hours of overtime. 
Medical benefits: 50% costs paid by employer, 50% by employee. Employee co-pay of 10%, maximum $10 for prescriptions. 
Dental: 100% unlimited basic coverage, 80% coverage, maximum $1,000 per year for major restorative.
Vision: $400 every 2 years. 
Paramedical: $500 per year.
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month, maximum 150 days. 
LTD: 66.66% wages, maximum 85% of net monthly wages, maximum $4,000 per month. 
AD&D: Paid by employer, minimum two times salary. 
Life insurance: Paid by employer, minimum two times salary. 
Pension: Halifax Regional Municipality Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, child, parents, siblings, parents in-law, grandparents, grandchildren). 3 days for death in extended family (aunt, uncle, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparents-in-law). 1 day for funeral for death of other family.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours.
Probationary period: 180 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 30 months.
Severance: 4 weeks per year, maximum 65 weeks.
Mileage: $0.46 per kilometre.
