Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on Nov. 9, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 0.5% 
Effective April 1, 2017: 0.5% 
Effective April 1, 2018: 0.5% 
Shift premium: $0.75 for work on afternoon shift between 4 p.m. and midnight. $1 per hour for work on 8-hour night shift between midnight and 8 a.m. $1.15 per hour for work on 12-hour night shift. 
Paid holidays: 11 days. 3 additional floating holidays after 20 weeks of service.
Vacations with pay: 1 1/2 days per month, maximum 3 weeks to start, 3 weeks after 1 year, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 16 years, 6 weeks after 25 years. Additional 1 day’s pay for each year of service after 25 years, maximum 10 days. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work beyond normal scheduled hours. Double time for work on Sunday or holiday. 
Vision: $650 every 2 years (previously $600 every 2 years).
Paramedical: Maximum $750 per year (previously maximum $700 per year) for chiropractic. Effective April 1, 2018: $800.
Sick leave: 23 days per year (8 days at full pay, 15 days at three-quarter pay). May be accumulated, maximum 200 days at three-quarter pay, unlimited at full pay.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of maximum $150,000.
Pension: Hydro One Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: Up to 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse, father and mother of employee, spouse of father and mother, including common-law, children, brothers and sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law, spouse of father-in-law and of mother-in-law, including common-law, relative of employee who resides in employee’s household). Up to 3 days for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, grandchildren. Time off with pay to attend funeral for death of fellow employee. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months for terminated surplus employees with more than 3 years of service. 24 months for employees on schedule 04 or those with less than 3 years of service. 
Probationary period: Minimum 6 months, maximum 12 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year of service for employees with less than 20 years of service. 3 weeks’ pay per year of service, maximum 78 weeks, for employees with more than 20 years or service. 
Safety shoes: 50% of cost, maximum of $75 per pair. Electric-shock-resistant footwear: 100% of cost, maximum $250 per year.

Editor’s notes: Retirement bonus: Upon retirement, employees who have completed 10 years or more of service will be given cash bonus equal to 1 month’s pay. Remembrance Day: Employees who can verify they have served in Canadian armed forces, and those in reserve components of Canadian armed forces, and those who have served in foreign country, will be eligible for time off with pay or payment if required to work on Remembrance Day.
