Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2021. Signed on April 24, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2017: 2%
Effective April 1, 2018: 2.1%
Effective April 1, 2019: 2.1%
Effective April 1, 2020: 2.2%
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 half-day on last working day before Christmas Day beginning at noon, 1 half-day on last working day before New Year’s Day beginning at noon, and 1 floater holiday.
Vacations with pay: 15 days after 1 year, 20 days after 9 years, 25 days after 15 years, 26 days after 21 years, 27 days after 22 years, 28 days after 23 years, 29 days after 24 days, 30 days after 25 years. 
Overtime: Double time for all hours worked after regular time. May be taken as time off in lieu. 
Meal allowance: Meal or $14 (previously $13.90) when working 2 overtime hours immediately after normal working day and every subsequent 4-hour interval. Effective April 1, 2020: $14.50. 2 meals or meal allowances for emergency overtime more than 30 minutes prior to regular start time. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 90% of premiums, employee pays 10% of premiums. 50% reimbursement for orthodontic services, lifetime maximum of $3,000 per person. 50% reimbursement for major restorative services, maximum of $2,260 per person per year.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Maximum coverage of $400 every 24 months. Maximum $120 for eye exams every 24 months. 
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month. 
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Coverage of 67% of pre-disability earnings, maximum $5,651 per month, with waiting period of 180 days. Effective April 1, 2019: Maximum $5,770 per month. Effective April 1, 2020: Maximum $5,896 per month.
Pension: Participation by employees in Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) is compulsory.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, foster-parent, former guardian of employee, brother, sister, spouse, child, ward of employee, father-in-law, mother-in-law, stepbrother, stepsister, grandchild, relative residing in employee’s household). 4 days for death of grandparent. 3 days for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, nephew. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, grandparent of current spouse.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum of 4 hours’ pay at straight time or for all hours worked at overtime rates, whichever is higher.
Probationary period: 6 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 2 months’ pay after 1 year of service, 3 months’ pay after 3 years of service, 4.5 months’ pay after 5 years of service, 7 months’ pay after 10 years of service, 10 months’ pay after 16 years of service, 14 months’ pay after 20 years of service, 18 months’ pay after 25 years of service. 
Safety shoes: $295 per year (previously $290 per year). 
Uniforms/clothing: New employees will be supplied with 2 pairs of leather gloves and 1 pair of 3-finger winter gloves with liners. Gloves will be replaced on an exchange basis due to wear or defects.
Tool allowance: Employer will supply all tools and equipment required by employees.
Mileage: $0.46 per kilometre (previously $0.45 per kilometre) when employee uses personal vehicle on company business.

Editor’s notes: Assigned workplace: When employee is relocated to newly assigned workplace, employee will receive $10 per working day, maximum 8 weeks, if more than 10 kilometres from former workplace. If more than 20 kilometres from former workplace, employee will be paid $15 per day. On-call allowance: $240 per week (previously $237.50 per week), plus $25 for holidays. Effective April 1, 2019: $245 per week. Travel meal allowances: $8.75 for breakfast, $14 for lunch, $27 for supper, $7 for incidentals (overnight trips).
