Arbour Heights facility recently purchased by Revera, ONA
The Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) welcomed new registered nurses (RN) from Revera Arbour Heights in Kingston, Ont. to membership in the union on Sept. 4.
The RNs are concerned about changes to their workplace following the recent purchase of the home by Revera. As in many long-term care homes, the RNs say the workplace is short-staffed, says ONA.
ONA is the union representing more than 65,000 registered nurses and health-care professionals, as well as 18,000 nursing student affiliates, providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, clinics and industry.
