Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on July 1, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective June 30, 2017: 1.5%
Effective June 30, 2018: 1.6%
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 25 days after 11 months, additional 2 days per year after 5 years, maximum 35 days. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: $400 per person (previously $350 per person) in any 24 consecutive months. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $500 per person in any 24 consecutive months. 
Paramedical: Maximum $2,200 per person per year for audiologist, chiropractor, kinesiologist, massage therapist, naturopath, osteopath, podiatrist, and speech therapist. Effective Jan. 1, 2019: Maximum $3,000 per person per year. Effective Nov. 1, 2008: Maximum $4,000 per person per year for certified psychologist.
Sick leave: 2 weeks per term.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for maximum $5,300 per month. Effective July 1, 2019: Maximum $6,000 per month.
AD&D: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for maximum coverage of $400,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums for maximum coverage of $400,000.
Pension: Retirement Plan of Laurentian University of Sudbury and its Federated and Affiliated Colleges. Employer will contribute amount required to fund current service costs and any unfunded liabilities and solvency liabilities, or 7.5%, whichever is greater. 
Bereavement leave: 10 days for death of partner, son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, child of partner. 5 days for death of another member of family (brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, grandparent, guardian, grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law). 1 day for death of nephew, niece, grandparent-in-law, aunt, uncle.
Probationary period: Maximum 5 years. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months; 5 years for student evaluations.

Sessional lecturers with establishment and retirees: $7,618

Sessional lecturers with seniority and retirees: $7,740 rising 1 step to $7,872

Assistant professor/librarian: $75,152 rising 3 steps to $79,360

Full professor/librarian: $110,646 rising 3 steps to $116,843
Editor’s notes: Office furniture: Employer will provide $40,000 per year for provision of furniture, work-stations, equipment according to recommendations of working-space committee. Computers: Once every 4 years, employees will be given maximum $1,800 for new computer. Physical-education facilities: Sessional members teaching at Barrie campus will be reimbursed, maximum $250, for individual gym membership, maximum $500, for family gym membership. Research support: All new full-time employees with probationary or tenured appointments will receive minimum $8,000 start-up grant. Recipients will have 3 years to use funds. Hearing aids: Maximum $2,000 per person (previously $500 per person) in any 2 consecutive years.
