Renewal agreement: Effective Sept. 28, 2018, to Sept. 27, 2022. Ratified on Oct. 20, 2018. Signed on Sept. 28, 2018. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective year 1: 1%
Effective year 2: 2%
Effective year 3: 2%
Effective year 4: 2%
Shift premium: $1.30 per hour for employees regularly scheduled to work before 6 a.m. or after 6 p.m. for existing employees under utility 1, warehouse operations categories. $1 per hour for employees regularly scheduled to work before 6 a.m. or after 6 p.m. for new employees under utility 1, warehouse operations categories.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus one-half day for Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve. 
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks or 4% (prorated for new employees in year of hire) to start, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 20 years, 6 weeks or 10% after 30 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 8 hours per day, double time after 10 hours per day. Time and one-half for all work on sixth shift, double time for all work on seventh shift (after 40 hours of work per week). 
Meal allowance: $14 after 2 consecutive hours’ overtime at end of shift.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Plan provides 100% coverage of basic dental treatments; 80% coverage for endodontic and periodontal treatments; 50% coverage for major restorative, prosthetics, including crowns, bridges and dentures. Maximum $2,000 per year. 50% coverage for orthodontic, lifetime maximum of $2,000.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of $300 every 24 months per employee and dependants. 
Sick leave: 4 days per year (any unused days will be paid out on second pay date of January each year). 8 hours per year for employees who attend medical appointments. 2 personal-choice days per year. 
STD: Coverage for maximum 26 weeks from first day of injury or fourth day of sickness. 100% for 4 weeks; 70% for 22 weeks to start; 100% for 13 weeks; 70% for 13 weeks after 2 years of service; 100% for 26 weeks after 10 years of service.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Pension: Linde Canada Defined Contribution Pension Plan. Employees hired before Jan. 1, 2005, may remain with existing DB pension plan. Employees may contribute 10% into Linde RRSP savings plan. Employer will match employee contributions at $0.25 (previously $0.50) for every $1 employee contributes, maximum 6% of base pay, maximum contribution of 1.5% of employee’s base pay.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (current spouse, current common-law spouse, child, parent, brother, sister, grandchild, grandparent, current stepparent, current stepchild, current sister-in-law, current brother-in-law, current mother-in-law, current father-in-law, current spouses’ grandparents). 1 additional day if funeral is outside of province.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Probationary period: 90 continuous calendar days.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years for personal records; 1 year for driving violations.
Severance: 1 week’s pay for each year of service, maximum 26 weeks after 1 year of service.
Safety shoes: All employees involved in handling of cylinders will be required to wear employer-approved metatarsal support-type safety boots, which will be supplied by employer. Employees not involved in handling of cylinders will have choice between 1 pair of safety shoes with metatarsal guards, or 1 pair of safety shoes without metatarsal guards. Employer will provide employees with voucher for Linde-approved vendor. Employer will supply winter boots to all drivers.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide pants, shirts/blouses, hard hat, soft hats, gloves, rain gear/jackets, winter outer jackets, coveralls or smocks. Only Linde-branded clothing will be permitted at work.
