Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2021. Signed on June 25, 2017.
Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: $18 per day to employee acting for store manager in manager’s absence, provided employee works for minimum 3 consecutive hours. $2 per hour for each hour employee replacing another employee in higher classification, provided employee works for minimum 1 shift. $1 per hour for all regular hours worked between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. if more than 50% of hours fall within this period. $2 per hour for all work on night shift. $2 per hour casual employee working on night shift.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 1/4 days per month to start, 1 2/3 days per month after 8 years, 2 1/12 days per month after 16 years, 2 1/2 days per month after 26 years. Additional 5 days, one-time only, after 25 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after normal work day or on Sunday (does not apply to retail, store and depot, retail POS/help-desk employees), double time for work on second scheduled day off. 
Meal allowance: $10 for cost of 1 meal, provided employee works 3 hours or more of overtime.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. 
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Maximum $3,000 per year, per insured employee; $3,000 per year for each of dependant basic and major treatments. 50% reimbursement, lifetime maximum $3,000, for eligible dependants 6 years old to 18 years old for orthodontic treatment.
Vision: Employer pays 100% of premiums. $340 (previously $300) per insured person in any 24-month period. $80 once every 2 years for eye exams not covered under provincial health plan.
Paramedical: $50 per visit for each visit not subsidized by OHIP for chiropractor, osteopath, chiropodist, naturopath, podiatrist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, massage therapist, acupuncturist. Combined maximum $2,000 per year. $50 per half hour per family member for psychologist or social worker or Master of Social Work and psychotherapy or testing and $35 for all other purposes. $160 for surgery by podiatrist, performed in podiatrist’s office.
Sick leave: 30 days.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 100% of salary or $20,000, whichever is greater. 
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death of mother, father, brother, sister, stepmother, stepfather, son, daughter, stepson, stepdaughter, spouse. 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, great-grandparents, spouse’s great-grandparents, grandchild, ward, guardian. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle. 
Seniority – recall rights: 2 years. 
Probationary period: Minimum 400 hours per 6-month period. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years.
Severance: 1 week’s notice for each year of seniority, minimum 4 weeks, maximum 15 weeks.
Safety shoes: $150 per year for CSA-approved safety footwear. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide 5 long-sleeve or short-sleeve shirts or blouses per year. Warehouse maintenance employees will be provided with 2 clean shirts and 2 clean pairs of trousers per week. $400 payable on Sept. 1 each year for all other warehouse employees.

Editor’s notes: Relocation expenses: When employee accepts position outside of work area and distance from residence is greater than 50 kilometres, employer will reimburse approved relocation expenses, maximum $5,000. Separation allowance: When employee resigns after receiving notice of layoff, employee will receive: $1,000 for 1 year of seniority; $2,000 for 5 years of seniority; $3,000 for 10 years of seniority; $4,000 for 15 years of seniority; $5,000 for 20 years of seniority. Hearing aids: Maximum $2,500 (2 x $1,250 per ear) in any 36-month period.
