Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2016, to Dec. 31, 2020. Signed on Jan. 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Driver
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: $0.50 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $0.30 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $0.40 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $0.40 per hour
Mechanics/welders
Effective Jan. 1, 2017: $0.90 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $0.40 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2019: $0.40 per hour
Effective Jan. 1, 2020: $0.40 per hour
Shift premium: Any employee holding first-aid certificate recognized under Workers’ Compensation Board regulations will receive $0.30 per hour. When employee begins work at 2 p.m. or later or prior 4 a.m. will be guaranteed 8 hours’ pay and $0.50 per hour shift differential for all hours worked. Double trailers: $0.40 per hour. Shift differential: $0.50 per hour for starts after 2 p.m. or before 4 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days. 
Vacations with pay: 4.16% pay (previously 4%) to start, 2 weeks or 4.16% (previously 4%) after 1 year, 120 hours or 6.36% (previously 6%) after 3 years, 160 hours or 8.64% (previously 8%) after 9 years, 200 hours or 11% (previously 10%) after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after 8 hours per day. Double time after 3 hours. 
Meal allowance: Drivers on turnaround in excess of 10 hours who stop to eat will be paid $6.50 for meal.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Teamsters’ Benefit Plan.
Sick leave: One-half day per month, maximum 30 days. Must have worked 128 hours in 4-week period.
Pension: Teamsters’ National Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of parent, spouse, brother, sister, child, parent-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step-children, legal guardian, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents and grand-children.
Probationary period: 30 days, working at least 120 hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply any needed uniforms. Employee must furnish suitable clothing, shoes, gloves and winter weather protective items. $150 per year reimbursement for personal protection equipment. Maintenance shop employees will be provided with clean coveralls. Company will provide raingear (rubber slip-on boots, slickers, rubber gloves) for hauling dangerous goods.
Tool allowance: $100 per year for safety-toed boot purchases.
Mileage: Up to 45,000 kilograms GVW: $0.55 per kilometre. Up to 45,001 to 52,000 kilograms GVW: $0.56 per kilometre. Up to 52,001 to 59,000 kilograms GVW: $0.57 per kilometre. More than 59,000 kilograms GVW: $0.58 per kilometre. ($0.02 increase every Jan. 1 of each year of agreement).
Sample rates of hourly pay (current, after increase):
Driver: $24 rising 4 steps to $25.60
Mechanics/welders: $29.76 rising 4 steps to $31.86
Upon ratification: one-time $350 signing bonus
Editor’s notes: Licence tests: Maximum $25 for those employees required to submit to physical examination, as condition of continuing to hold driver’s licence. Union label: Employee may post Teamsters’ union label in conspicuous place on glass area of equipment no bigger than 3 inches by 4 inches and not impairing driver’s vision.
