Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on June 1, 2016.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 0%
Effective April 1, 2017: 1.25%
Effective April 1, 2018: 1.75%
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 16.5 days to start, 21.5 days after 2 years, 26.5 days after 15 years, 31.5 days after 20 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours worked after 8 hours for outside workers; 7.5 hours for inside workers. Double time for hours worked after 4 overtime hours Monday to Friday. Time and one-half for first 12 hours for outside workers; 11.5 hours for inside workers. Double time thereafter worked on Saturday. Double time for any time worked on Sunday. May be banked, maximum 80 hours per year.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums.
Sick leave: 1.25 days per month, maximum 120 days.
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
LTD: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employee contributes 8% to Northern Employers Benefit Services Pension Plan, employer matches contribution.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death in immediate family (spouse, children, father-in-law, parents, mother-in-law, sisters, grandchildren, grandparents, brothers). 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, first cousin.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: The greater of overtime rate or 3 hours’ pay at regular rate.
Probationary period: 6 months (1,040 hours for outside workers; 975 hours for office staff). 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 3 years.
Safety shoes: $200 per year.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply: hard hats, aprons, welding goggles, dust protection, eye protection (except prescription lenses), ear protection, reflective vests, coveralls, protective vest (bylaw enforcement officer), bylaw enforcement officer jacket.

Editor’s notes: Outside employment: Employee may carry on business or employment outside regularly scheduled hours of duty without interference from employer. Translations: If Inuktitut version of agreement is requested, union and employer will share equally translation costs. English version shall govern over any dispute between different versions of agreement. Tradition leave: Leave without pay may be granted to employee in order to meet traditional hunting or harvesting opportunities. Cooling-off period: Employee who terminates employment as result of misunderstanding or argument will be allowed to return to work and remain employed if he does so within 3 working days. Will apply once per 2-year period. Plug-in allowance: Employees required to bring municipality vehicles home during winter months of October to April will receive $100 per month for additional electrical costs. Northern allowance: For all permanent or term employees. Effective April 1, 2016: $23,000. Effective April 1, 2017: $23,250. Effective April 1, 2018: $23,625.
