Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2016, to Feb. 28, 2019. Signed on March 18, 2016.
Shift premium: $2.50 per hour for weekend work.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 float day.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 88 hours averaged over 2-week pay period.
Meal allowance: When accompanying client to restaurant or on seminars or courses: $10 for breakfast, $15 for lunch, $25 for supper (previously $20).
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Industrial Alliance benefits plan.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: $150 every 24 months.
Sick leave: 76 hours per year.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will match employee’s contribution into group RRSP, maximum 5% per year.
Bereavement leave: 7 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, sibling, stepsibling. 3 days for death of father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchild, stepgrandchild, grandparent. 1 day for death of aunt, uncle, niece, nephew.
Seniority – recall rights: 18 months.
Probationary period: 980 hours worked for full-time, 625 hours worked for part-time.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 24 months.
Safety shoes: $150 per year (previously $75 per year) for maintenance employees. $100 after first year (previously $75 per year), $150 every subsequent 2 years (previously $75 every 2 years) thereafter for other employees.
Mileage: $0.48 per kilometre (previously $0.42 per kilometre).
