Provincewide, Newfoundland and Labrador (360 clerks, buyers, typists, technicians, blenders, sales clerks, warehouse workers, operators, production workers) and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Public and Private Employees (NAPE)

Renewal agreement: Effective March 31, 2018, to March 31, 2020. Signed on March 31, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2018: 0%

Shift premium: $2.30 per hour for each hour worked between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m., except for employees whose shifts begin and end between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. $2.55 per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 12:01 a.m. Saturday and midnight Sunday.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1.58 days per month of service, maximum 19 days to start, 2 days per month of service, maximum 24 days after 120 months, 2.41 days per month of service, maximum 29 days after 300 months. May be carried forward, maximum 140 hours. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 7 hours per day or 70 hours per 2-week period. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50% of premiums. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of mother, father, brother, sister, child, spouse, common-law spouse, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, legal guardian, relative living in same household. 1 day for death of son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law. 1 additional day if death occurs off island for employees residing on island or outside of Labrador for employees residing in Labrador.
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours at overtime rate.
Probationary period: 595 hours worked. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Severance: Amount equal to multiplying number of completed years of employment by weekly salary, maximum 20 weeks’ pay after 1 year of service.
