Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 1, 2016, to April 30, 2018. Signed on Aug. 10, 2017.
Shift premium: $125 per day for company drivers assigned to train new drivers, $250 per day for owner-operators. $1.50 per hour for charge hands. $56.92 per hour maximum for Alberta owner-operators.
Paid holidays: 11 days (previously 10 days). 
Vacations with pay: 4% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 3 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 18 years. 
Overtime: Will be paid after 60 hours per week. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays $250 per month (previously $217 per month) per employee for health and welfare plan, administered by union health and welfare trust fund. Employer pays 100% of premiums for B.C. Medical Plan.
Dental: 100% reimbursement, maximum $2,000 per person per year for basic. 50% reimbursement, maximum $2,000 per person per year for comprehensive. 50% reimbursement, maximum $3,000 per person per lifetime for orthodontic.
Vision: $300 every 2 years, every year for dependants younger than 21.
Weekly indemnity: 60% of earnings, maximum $600 per week, payable after first day of accident or hospitalization, 14th day of sickness, maximum of 119 days.
LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum $2,600 per month, payable after 119 days. 
AD&D: Coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000.
Pension: Employer will match employee monthly contribution to union RRSP: $125 after 1 year of service; $175 after 6 years of service; $225 after 11 years of service. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parent, sister, brother, spouse, child, parent-in-law, stepparent, stepparent-in-law, stepchild). Additional 2 days for travel more than 800 kilometres away. 
Seniority – recall rights: 2 months with less than 1 year of service, 12 months after 1 year of service. 
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $150 per year (previously $125 per year) for black CSA-approved safety boots, $100 for other than black.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer uniforms, safety clothing and safety equipment related to employer’s equipment will be provided by employer. Clothing and equipment will be maintained by owner-operator.
Mileage: $0.417 per litre in Alberta, B.C. $0.45 per kilometre for personal vehicle compensation.

Editor’s notes: Overnight stays: Employer will cover all reasonable meal and accommodation expenses. Reasonable meal expenses will consist of maximum $17 per meal. Safety incentive: $750 per quarter (previously $500 per quarter). When safety bonus has been received for all 4 quarters per year, employer will pay additional bonus of $500.
