Renewal agreement: Effective March 14, 2022 to Dec. 31, 2025. Signed on March 14, 2022.
Wage adjustments:
Effective Jan. 1, 2022: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2023: 1.5%
Effective Jan. 1, 2024: 1.75%
Effective Jan. 1, 2025: 2%
0.5% lump sum to all active employees on signing date
Shift premium: $15 per day for employees from CSR classifications assigned to train; $25 per day for employees from technical classifications assigned to train. $2.50 per hour for employees working underground. $0.90 per hour for employees whose regularly assigned shifts are between 2 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. $1.10 per hour for employees whose regularly assigned shifts are between 10 p.m. and 5:59 a.m. $0.25 per hour for regular work on Saturday, Sunday. $40 per day for each day required to work at any site north of Moosonee.
Paid holidays: 9 days, plus National Truth and Reconciliation Day and 3 floater holidays.
Vacations with pay: 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 3 years, 4 weeks after 7 years, 5 weeks after 15 years, 6 weeks after 25 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for work after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week. Time may be banked, maximum 40 hours.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for any written warning or caution; 5 years for any record of discipline.
Safety shoes: Maximum $145 per year for 1 pair of safety boots or shoes.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide necessary insulated, fire-resistant coveralls for employees who require them and replacements as necessary.

Editor’s notes: Meal expenses: $50 per day ($10 for breakfast; $15 for lunch; $25 for supper) for meal expenses while away from headquarters. Employees who stay with friends/relatives when otherwise be at hotel/motel will be reimbursed for amount paid for lodging, maximum $20 per day. Paid education leave: Employer will pay $0.02 per hour per employee for all compensated hours for paid education leave. On-call: 30 minutes at overtime rates for each 8-hour on-call shift for network service technicians. Northern allowance: $75 per week will be paid on regular payrolls to all employees with permanent headquarters at Moosonee.
